We were lied to about booking 4 nights and getting 1 night free! Customer service called US liers by their attitude and unwillngness to even listen to us.f

We booked 4 nights and one night free at the hyatt Regency Zeta Riveria Cancun months in advance For the dates Nov 1 until the sixth. I verefied the dates when I arrived!!

Sunday the fifth, someone came to our room saying Hyatt booked our room to them for that day saying they had issues also!

Long story short , we were told there was no such program offered!!! Moved us to another room and charged us another $300. They kept saying prove it ! Prove it.

We had a bus rented for our departure 6:00 a.m. on the 7th for airport. We were there for a wedding party of 150 people.

They treated us like liars! Is $300 worth the bad revews

Terrible customer attitude

Terrible customer attitude and service at the Hyatt San Antonio Riverwalk. Long day at a conference, wanted to get room service. They promised to "send up a menu". Three calls (including to a manager (Angel)) to get a menu in ONE HOUR! Too late to eat. And the manager's attitude was "I don't know anything about it since I just got here". No attempt to remedy the situation or do anything to help. Seems typical of the culture of this hotel.

Major Complaint

I Angelia Powell and Joseph Powell Jr. are extremely dissatisfied with my stay at your establishment at Hyatt Regency Wynfrey in Birmingham Alabama, Galleria.

1.

Inconvenience of being moved from one room to another. We were assigned to room 1418 a king suite. But due to poor housekeeping and the lack of sanitation the hygiene safety was questionable with what appeared to be body fluids on the front of the coach, on coffee table and on the front of the television. After repeated request for the room to be cleaned and more than three hours of not settling in we were asked to move.

We moved to 1420. Again, after request and three days in room. No one ever cleaned, no one even emptied the trash. After major complaining to the front desk a call back from housekeeping manager apologized and we were offered nothing.

We were again inconvenienced over and over again locked out of room by no fault of our own, our keys were disabled. It didn't seem to matter that my husband complained regarding his handicap with knee problems and had to suffer walking inconveniently to and from to get keys reset.

4. Certainly not least, we are in a Covid Pandemic and your staff held no sanitation standards. With many large groups housekeeping was not keeping common areas clean, there were no elevator provisions and there were no processes in place to protect guest from possible contact of Covid.

More than half of the people in my party returned home on Sunday with positive results for Covid!! But were all negative for Covid prior to travelling to your hotel. I will be reporting to the CDC and to the Birmingham Health Department of this major urgency and outbreak of Covid at your Hotel.

5. There were no refunds, no discounts on our room rates.

The reservation was made and held on the Chase Bank card ending in 9644. Two days before we checked out the total rates were attempted to charge from my account. However, it was paid by my husband in full on Sunday, May 22, 2022. But as of today, May 25, 2022, all of the $806.28 is still a pending charge on my bank card.

It has not been cancelled by your hotel the merchant. Again, I am inconvenienced and do not have access to my funds.

This is unacceptable and unconscionable.

I expect to speak with someone within 24 hours to rectify this issue and legal action will be taken.

I am very disgruntled and will be posting reviews pending your resolve to this matter.

I recently stayed at the Hyatt Place in Long Island City, NY & was very pleased. We selected this hotel for its convenience but were pleasantly surprised with its amenities, cleanliness, comfort and customer service. I asked Vincent at the front desk where I might find an umbrella while I ran an errand and he provided his personal umbrella. This, I believe, is going beyond his duties so I think Vincent should be commended. He is an asset to Hyatt. Thank you to Vincent and to Hyatt for a great experience!

NEED ASSISTANCE WITH AN ERROR MADE BY CORPORATE RESERVATION

I made a reservation for two rooms on 3/8/2022 with park/sleep/fly for June 13, 2022 check out on June 14, return on June 23rd. Res # 273****.

I called on April 7 to reservation department to add my member # 55810****D. I was sent 2 confirmation numbers with one for each room but instead of 11 days parking it was for 7 days. I have called and talked to another agent who could help me so I was transfered to a supervisor who I spoke with and she was assisting, she put me on hold for an extended time and then I was disconnected. Instead of spending another 2 hours or so trying to fix this, I am asking that you take the time to make sure that the parking for these two rooms is extended until the 23rd.

The two confirmation numbers from Hyatt are 6182****, and4475****. Please send me confirmation of this change ASAP.

I am not "pissed" as much as I am aggravated. I spent 30 years in the hospitality industry, hold a CHA, and a CTP, was a general manager for years, was in the Virginia Area for a long time and was president of many hospitality associations there., I am disappointed in how there doesn't seem to be a lot of good customer service.

Hyatt JAX airport needs a renovation in quality thinking and maintenance

I am concerned about the lack of quality represented by the Hyatt JAX Hotel. The bathroom tub was damaged and rusty. The carpet was filthy. I don't wear shoes in the room so the socks tell the story. There were two of us under contract to do research for a company considering locating it corporate HQ to Jacksonville. We needed two chairs as we both had laptops but no additional chair was available. We had to request a microwave over although supposedly it is standard. While the breakfast was adequate, it should only have included scrambled eggs and a plant-based protein. No one except idiots from South Carolina wants sausage.

The hotel canceled my stay made up a lie about me changing my clothes outside the hotel which is a lie I believe they canceled my stay because Im African American and it was a racial issue I just need my money refunded on my card please and Thankyou

I am staying at the HYATT place in Mt. Laurel, NJ.

I stay often especially lately due to family illness around the area. I WENT to the front desk and asked if I could get the feather pillows and that I had 4 small "cotton" pillows. The gentleman I was speaking to said no problem I'll have someone bring them up. I was on my way back up to my room when another person came from behind the desk with a note pad and said to me " why don't you just tell us what you like"

not being friendly about it, she approached with an attitude.

I said I just wanted the feather pillows instead of the 4 smaller cotton pillows. She said to me every time you come here you have a problem and tell me what you want and I'll put it in the computer and we will inspect the room before you come. I ended the conversation and said I will speak to the GM

Tim in the morning. She was still talking nd i repeated I will speak with Tim in the am.

She said " oh, you want to speak r o someone ill get them right now, and proceeded to get her friend Nikki who was covering. Her main concern was they were cotton pillows and i kept calling them foam pillows.

The lady who was extremely rude was Valerie. I had to ask her 4 times what her name was before she told me and it was only when her friend Nikki came out from an

Closed office. Yes you could tell without a doubt the are freinds.

It happens in the work place. I actually raised my voice to her I was so upset and i never had done this in the past, never!! . I can not believe Valerie is allowed to behave this way in the workplace, to treat someone with so much disrespect and lack of dignity.

In probably not even scratching the surface of how this encounter transpired and i know for a fact her purpose was to degrade me because I so called had complaints. Like: showers that leaked on the floor so i asked for extra towels, hair and crumbs on floor so i showed Nikki what I picked up off the floor, the air conditioning that spit out grease on the bed. These were all in the past and only said something because I cared and thought they could do somthing to fix so business could flourish.

All this because I wanted a pillow.

Hyatt will not reimburse my flight tickets $1500 after they cancelled my vacation to Puerto Rico because resort is still closed. In Feb 2019 I booked my family's vacation to Hyatt residence club in Puerto Rico for December 2019. I bought airline tickets in June 2019 at a discounted price because they were non exchangeable, nonrefundable. Hyatt called my at the end of July to cancel my family's trip because the resort still is not open and will not be open until May 2020. I cannot get my tickets refunded or exchanged and Hyatt is refusing to refund me the ticket price as well. My husband is active duty military, so rescheduling vacation for different time frames is very difficult. Hyatt customer service did not even apologize for the inconvenience or try to work a deal to repair their mistake.

Disgraceful Online Booking Experience

Booked online at the Hyatt Ziva Cancun. Was told to get the best rate one had to join Hyatt and book the EXCLUSIVE deal. We paid upfront to get the supposed exclusive deal. Two weeks before arrival I check rates and they are almost $500 cheaper for our 5 nt stay. I call customer service and they speak with the hotel who says tough luck. I email the general manager and am told the same thing. Why should my family pay $500 more for a room which 2 weeks before we arrive is almost $500 cheaper? Noone at Hyatt cares. Clearly, do not book on their website which brags about a rate guarantee. I did not find another company advertising less rate, but HYATT itself was advertising $500 less and they would not match it or give any concession. They literally do not care that a client is upset with a valid concern.

How did two brothers with the last name "Hyatt" become such Disgusting Slumlords?

I cannot give out specific details, but there are a couple of brothers with the last name Hyatt who run several really run down properties in a state that I cannot mention because it would be too specific. They are true slumlords who never want to fix anything, and they went on a rampage on one property and chopped down most of the beautiful pine trees on the property so that they could make way to put real expensive monthly travel trailer spots to rent for $500 a month just for the spot on the ground. Their last name should be "Motel 6", not "Hyatt" They deserve to be punished by being made to live in one their run down hitty properties.
